Show Command
show envar
The show command displays the current value (or setting) of an environment variable where envar: The name of the environment variable to be displayed.
- show config lists useful configuration data:
- Firmware revision number for POST, AlphaBIOS, and SRM.
- Palcode revisions.
- Alpha 21264 processor and Tsunami chip set chip revision.
- Memory configuration by physical bank and hexadecimal base address.
- Bcache size.
- Integral PCI devices, and installed PCI option cards, and ethernet ID.
- Important ISA bus devices.
- show dev lists boot devices.
- show memory lists memory configuration and base addresses. This is useful for locating a defective DIMM for replacement given error logs or diagnostic reports with failing addresses.
- show status gives a summary of current test results for all diagnostics running on system.
- show * lists all environment variables and their values.
- show version displays SRM firmware revision.
- show pal/EM> displays PAL code versions.
